This article will briefly talk about the #FluxProtocol oracle aggregator and why it is worth following this project, as well as the current #foreteller Ambassador program.
The Flux protocol is a cross-chain oracle aggregator that provides smart contracts with access to economically secure data sources for whatever. This allows the end user to create entirely new interaction tools. By aggregating data from other oracles (Chainlink, Band Protocol, Tellor etc.), Flux provides “best-truth” data at a point in time. Also, Flux is a blockchain-agnostic protocol that allows you to apply Flux solution on other layer 1 blockchains (Near, Solana), and not be limited to any one. Also, thanks to the Near Rainbow Bridge, it becomes possible to interact with Ethereum, which opens the door for Flux to a huge ecosystem based on ETH, which always needs suppliers of “quality” data. The current trend is that #multichain strategies & solutions are gaining popularity, thereby blurring the boundaries between the existing leaders of the layer 1 blockchain industry. With its low transaction costs and almost limitless potential for scalability & integrations, Flux will confidently occupy its niche as an aggregator & arbitrator of data from various networks. The main task of the Ambassador of the Flux Protocol #foretellers program is to perform various kinds of tasks (which will change every week) in order to help the project communicate about the key features & properties of the protocol on the vastness of social networks in various geographic regions. For completing each of the tasks, a certain number of Fluxbucks (QUALITY = MORE FLUXBUCKS!) Are credited, which at the moment have no value. However, a leaderboard will soon be introduced, which will allow each of the Ambassadors to track their results and compare them with other active participants. If you have participated in this kind of programs, then it will not be difficult for you to understand the nuances. Among the activities: tweets, transfers; writing articles, reviews and tutorials, video reviews and guides, creating graphic animations, pictures & infographics, etc. I would confidently call this skill-set the “2021 Ambassador Set”. At the moment, the enrollment in the program is closed, however, with the end of the first “round / season” the enrollment will be opened and everyone will have the opportunity to apply and prove themselves! At the end of the season, the participants who will be at the bottom of the leaderboard will leave the program. The approximate duration of the “round / season” is 3–4 months.
Most recently, the Flux team announced the completion of the Seed round and raised over $ 10 million from such well-known blockchain funds as Coinbase Ventures, CoinFund, Uncorrelated Ventures, Figment Capital. Based on all of the above, I believe that Flux Protocol is an interesting layer 2 solution that checks its data streams with other oracles, thereby significantly reducing the likelihood of providing low-quality information to the end user regardless of the blockchain.
